The indigenous people of Sri Lanka, the “Veddhas” is a community which consists of about 350 families, struggling to maintain their traditions and livelihoods through the years. Imagine an experience where you are welcomed to a “Veddha” village, nestled away from civilisation, to experience their traditions, rituals and even share a meal with them! One of the most popular of these aboriginal villages is Damabana, located about 300kms from Colombo.
